Spiritual Path

“Most emphatically we wish to say that an addict capable of honestly facing his problems in the light of our experience can recover, provided he does not close his mind to spiritual concepts. He can only be defeated by an attitude of intolerance or belligerent denial. We find that no one need have difficulty with the spirituality of the program. Willingness, honesty and open mindedness are the essentials of recovery. But these are indispensable.

There is a principle which is a bar against all information, which is proof against all arguments and which cannot fail to keep a man in everlasting ignorance… that principle is contempt prior to investigation.” – Herbert Spencer

Are you or a loved one suffering from an addiction?

If that’s the case the ONLY successful path to freedom from addiction is a Spiritual Awakening. A complete psyche change.

It begins by admitting there is a PROBLEM that no human power can solve. The SOLUTION to your problem starts by finding a power greater than ourselves.

The early days of addiction treatment had very little to NO success at all. Until a group of mostly men in Akron, OH put together the only successful recovery program in the early 1940’s that began to see a success rate of 93%.

So why are today’s treatment programs lucky to get only 4-7% success rate? Because they fail to follow the program of action the first 100 men and women worked out. They use a watered down half-measure approach. The softer, easier way. Leaving people restless, irritable and very discontent… leading to a relapse.

The program that Came 2 Believe and the James Club teaches, is just like what those first 100 men and women used in the early 1940’s, passed down from Dr. Bob to Clarence Snyder and to his thousands of sponsees.

And yes we use the same God & Bible as they did back when the 12 Steps were being written. First we get right with God [steps 1, 2 & 3]. Next we find the “causes and conditions” of our liabilities, character defects and shortcomings. Asking God to remove these and plant new seeds, is getting right with ourselves [step 4, 5, 6, & 7]. Then making amends and restitution for harm we caused, is getting right with others [steps 8 & 9]. Now we begin our daily maintenance “A new way of living” – Happy, Joyous and Free [steps 10, 11 & 12].

“Honesty, Purity, Unselfishness and Love are
the spiritual laws we must follow to stay sober.” – Greg M

Once I was in a hopeless state of mind and body, but as the result of working these 12 steps as the founders did them, “I have Recovered” through having my own personal Spiritual Awakening.

Happy, Joyous & Free, Greg
